Babak serves PB&A as the Managing Project Engineer utilizing his educational background combined with over a decade of experience in civil engineering to deliver to the client an optimum design solution. Since he joined PB&A in 2014 he has managed design of several projects in both private and public sectors, including LA Metro’s West side Extension and the HART Light Rail Project in Honolulu Hawaii. His area of expertise includes temporary and permanent soil retention systems, construction platforms, foundation improvements and micropiles. Prior to joining PB&A, Babak was doing his Ph.D. in civil engineering at University of Texas at Arlington. In his leisure time Babak plays guitar and video games.
